Beautiful Things With a Past. A New Chapter to Come.

Hultén Art Collective began with a simple belief: beautiful things deserve another chance.

What started as a passion for rescuing and refinishing everyday furniture grew into something much more. I found myself drawn to pieces that had been forgotten, overlooked, or were simply in need of a little love. Furniture that might otherwise have ended up in a landfill could be transformed into something beautiful, useful, and appreciated once again.

Over time, that passion evolved into a love for original art, vintage furnishings, and pieces with history and character.

I believe the things we bring into our homes should mean something to us.

An original painting is more than something beautiful to hang on a wall. It represents a moment in an artist's life, their imagination, their emotions, and the way they saw the world.

Whether that artist is still creating or lived centuries ago, a piece of them lives on through their work.

When you bring an original painting into your home, you become part of its continuing story.

I want to encourage people to fill their homes with originality. To discover artwork that speaks to them personally, rather than simply choosing another mass-produced print from a big-box store.

Because a home should reflect the people who live in it.

A Personal Connection to Sweden

Sweden holds a very special place in my heart.

My husband's family lives there, and my own ancestral roots reach back centuries into the Swedish countryside. In the village of Åsenhöga, the resting places and gravestones of my ancestors remain, dating as far back as 1732.

There is something profoundly meaningful about walking through a place where generations of your family once lived, worked, and created their own stories.

That connection has given me an even deeper appreciation for Sweden's remarkable history of craftsmanship, originality, and innovation.

Swedish design has long been rooted in creativity, from the beautifully hand-painted allmoge furniture of rural farmhouses to the groundbreaking mid-century modern designs that continue to command attention in homes around the world.

The traditional Swedish farmhouse pieces particularly fascinate me.

Many were created to celebrate family beginnings, marriages, and the establishment of a new home. Hand-painted cabinets, decorated wooden chests, and other household furnishings were not simply functional objects. They were expressions of craftsmanship, creativity, and family life.

Centuries later, these pieces still have stories to tell.

And then there is Sweden's extraordinary contribution to modern design.

The clean lines, thoughtful functionality, and innovative forms of Swedish mid-century furniture demonstrate how creativity can continually evolve while remaining timeless.

From centuries-old farmhouse craftsmanship to iconic modern design, Sweden has an incredible tradition of creating beautiful things that endure.

It is this combination of history, artistry, and innovation that inspires my collection.

Today, Hultén Art Collective brings together thoughtfully selected furniture, original artwork, and distinctive home accessories from Sweden and beyond.

My sourcing journeys through Sweden allow me to discover pieces that might otherwise remain hidden away in old farmhouses, small antique shops, and private collections.

Each piece is personally selected for its individuality, craftsmanship, history, or simply because it speaks to me.

Some are centuries old. Others represent the creativity and innovation of more recent generations. All have something unique to offer.

My goal is not simply to sell furniture or artwork.

It is to connect beautiful things with the people who will love them.

Whether it's a hand-painted Swedish chest that has witnessed generations of family life, an original painting that captures an artist's vision, or a forgotten piece of furniture given a new beginning, I believe these objects deserve to be appreciated and enjoyed.

I hope to inspire people to create homes filled with originality, character, and pieces that tell a story.
